DGA Website- Evaluate

          I feel like the website was okay and that my group and I could have added more creativity and time to the website. I should have also included more resources, so it could have been more reliable. In the Investigation stage I first searched sites that had information I was looking for and were more trustworthy than others. In the Designing stage I started to eliminate choices that didn't make sense to what I was wanting. In the Plan stage I planned an outline with the sources in order, so that people could see the data clearly. In the Creation stage I started pasting the information into my page and making it look better. In the Evaluation stage I started to see the things my group could have added if we were to have more time. I could have improved more on searching more resources that were available. I suppose that with this website people will read and learn that child slavery and prostitution is something we should be aware of because it only happens between a certain age group.

DGA Website- Create

         What I utilized to create my part of the website was to search contact information that were from reliable sources and to put the information in order so the audience find it understandable. Many of the changes I did was change sites from time to time because I found better websites that had more accurate details that make them stand out from the others. I would also change the order of what information went where. There was many sites that were available, but weren't as reliable as the ones I chose in the end. I tried to make the sources as understandable as  I could and as clear so the audience would know where to  contact us if they see any of those cases.

DGA Website- Plan

Everybody in our group is going to take part in the Website Creation. What I am going to do is that I have to look up resourceful sources and find their contact number, so that if a person has a question they can call and tell them what they wanted to express. I am going to look up sources that talk about our topic (child slavery and prostitution) and that gives us detailed information on statistics, actual stories, and what age group is being attacked the most with this issue. I have to overview that the website is right and then add it to the resource page/contact page.
If I do change anything it is because maybe the website is to broad and does not have enough description to get the attention of the audience.

DGA Website- Design

 My gruop members and I shared our ideas on how we should design our web pages. I thought we should make 4 different parts to the websites. The first one would be the home page talking about what we want to inform people about our topic and other related information. The second page will be about the dangers some teens face and how parents/ adults can help. The third page will talk about how to contact us at different locations, and the phone numbers they can use to tell us if they suspect anything that is happening around them that is related to our topic. The fourth page would talk about how many teens/kids get kidnapped every year without anybody noticing this problem happening.
In the end we decided that we will each get a piece of information from everybodies design and combine them to make our final result.

DGA Public Service Announcement- Evaluate

          The outcome of our Public Service Announcement went well and I think that we did what we planned to do. Maybe we needed to fix a little on the timing, but everything we needed to complete was completed. Our peers seemed to like our PSA because they gave us high grades that surprised me to get. In the Investigation stage we researched on our topic about child slavery and prostitution and we also searched for images. We did well in this stage so we continued on to the Design stage. On the Design stage we decided to start our script and our clip that followed. We took sufficient time in this stage to get our final design for the project. In the Plan stage we planned on getting the actors to do a role in our PSA. We also planned on making a clip with images and facts about child slavery and prostitution. In the Create stage we got the actors to act out there role and we also completed the video. The clip was also finished and the final result was good enough. I evaluated our PSA and I say it was well done. What we did for this PSA made some of our audience realize that child slavery and prostitution is a serious matter and that we should do something to stop it.

DGA Website- Investigation

         The topic for my group is about child slavery and prostitution and now I have to make a website for it to make people aware of this situation. I am going to investigate more about my topic to add to the website so that my viewers will be aware of the situation with child slavery and prostitution. I also want to add statistics on how this issue is growing and that we are not doing anything to stop it.
        I researched more on my topic and got interesting facts about child slavery and prostitution, but I had to get sufficient for the website. I also had to cite the information I got because of its sources that they had. I had to search for information that was true because some websites had false facts about my topic. I had to check if the information was valid enough to use for my website project.
       I will check and evaluate my PSA by following the instructions on how the teacher wants this project to be done.

DGA- Public Service Announcement- Create

          The techniques and equipment we used in order to create the product was that we used a camera, actors, scripts, images, and a narrator. I video taped the actors when they were ready to act their part of the script. After I finished video taping, one of my teammates worked on the slide show to finish the final product of the PSA. We also used the Design Cycle to get organized on the steps we had to use. We didn't make any modifications to our PSA because everything we planned to do was created in the final product. We borrowed the camera from Ms. Hernandez and video taped the video outside in the playground. The Public Service Announcement turned out well and is done to turn it in.
