Public Service Announcement- Investigation

A. My group and I have to find interesting facts about our topic ( child slavery and prostitution) and we also have to think on how we are going to video tape our project. We will have to sketch out the video because if we don't sketch it out, we will mess up and the project will be a disaster.
B. The way my group and I gathered the information of our topic was that we each researched the topic and the websites that had more interesting and factual information was the one we chose. The websites that did not give as much information, we rejected them and chose the rest.
C. My group and I will try our designs and the one that best fits what we are achieving for will be the design we go with. We will sketch each design and the one that we have worked on and know it will do will be selected. I think that with the information we have acquired, we will be successful on the video because I have worked on it and I feel it will be okay.

DGA- Personal Digital Story- Evaluate

I think I succeeded in this project with the results of my peers and I think I could have improved my project by adding more pictures and more music into the iMovie. My peers graded my iMovie and they got almost the same grade I suspected I was going to get. With this information, I know what I needed to work on more and what I should have added. I think I did good in the investigation, planning, creating, but I had problems in the create and evaluate part of the design cycle. I think I could have improved the create part of the design cycle by adding more pictures and saying more information about them. I could of improved on the evaluate by asking more people on how they think my project is and how I could of improved it. I feel that my project was successful because I worked hard on it and put my all into it. I learned new ways to improve my project with the help of the storyboard, Mrs.Hernandez, and my classmates.

DGA - Personal Digital Story- Create

The techniques and equipment I used to create my final product was by using music, my voice recording, my pictures, and the rubric that helped me organize my iMovie. I first put the pictures in order, then I put my voice recording. Then at the end I added my music on the background. Sometimes the pictures would get in the wrong order because I would forget to correct them, so when it was time to finish up for that day, I was in a rush putting them in order. Another problem I had, was that I would forget what button does what on the iMovie. The things that helped me was that the Ms.Hernandez had taught us how to create the iMovie and gave us a rubric on how she wanted things done.

Personal Digital Story- Planning

A. The way I am going to do my Story Board is by doing my pictures is from old to recent. I am going to put the pictures that I have more of a story to tell about that specific event. I am going to spend like 10 seconds in each picture which in total it will be 1 minute and 40 seconds. To get the pictures I will tell my mom if I could get some from the photo album and I will bring them to class. The beginning of my iMovie will start with the photo album, and then I will put different transitions for some pictures. Later I will record my voice in the recorder and then I will see if I didn't make mistakes.
B. I think I am going to change some of the pictures and put more specific pictures that I am more familiar with the event. I think that is all that I am going to change.

Personal Digital Story- Design

A. The 1st design I was going to do was about my 8th grade field trip. I didn't do it after all because I know other students are also going to do the same thing. My 2nd design was to do something about when I go to Mexico. I could do that one, but I also want to do the 3rd design. My 3rd design is about me coming from California all the way to Texas. The 2nd and 3rd design would both work, but I have to choose one.

B. I decided to do my 3rd design because it sounds more interesting and I have more pictures about it. I didn't choose my 2nd design because I wanted it to be more interesting. I didn't choose my first design because almost all the freshman would be doing the same introduction.

Week 6 Assessment

1. One of the problems I had was that I forgot what some of the buttons were for and that stopped me momentarily from my goal. After I figured how to manage the buttons, I kept doing what my goal was. I fixed my transitions and added more pictures. Another problem I had was that at first I didn't know how to put the audio, but later I figured it out and got back to working on my project and on my goal. 
2. The first thing I did was write on the storyboard about specific events. Then I thought about what order I was going to put the pictures in. When I had the order done, I plugged my camera in the computer and loaded my pictures into the iMovie. Then I started decorating the pictures.
3. I think that with this information that I have learned I will be using it for further projects/assignments or for certain classes. I feel proud about learning this information and knowing more about computers.

Week 5 Assessment

1. What I learned and accomplished this week was how to get on the iMovie and how to add photos, add a voice recorder, and how to design it and make it look better.
2. I will use it for projects that I will be getting from teachers, and I will use it for the future to do assignments and homeworks.
3. I want to master how to do power points better, and know how to block this blog.

Week 2 Assessment

1. What I learned this week in technology was where to go and bookmark sites. We haven't gone to the website yet, but she did tell us where to find it. It is in Diigo.com. We also saw and we want to learn is how to make our blog look professional.

2. If I have to do an assignment on my blog, I will try to make it look and hear professional so others can understand it. Also if I want to go bookmark someone, I will know where to go.

3. My goal is to try and learn how to type a little faster and how to make a blog professional. I also want to learn how to make movies and nice power points.

DGA/Yearbook Assessment Week 1

1.What I learned all this week is to make a blog on the computer. What I am doing right now is my first blog post which is a new thing I have learned this week.
2.By knowing how to do a blog will help on in life by being able to remember how to create one and know how to post and create things in it.
3.What I really want to know is how to make movies, how to keep your blog extra protected and how to make power points more creative.
